A message from Moulana Ejaz Bashir (LLB Hons)

Headteacher

of Darul Uloom Dewsbury

Bismillah,

Dear respected Parents/Guardians

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

May the peace and blessing of Allah be upon you.

I hope you are in the best of health and Imaan.

I am truly honoured to be the Headteacher of Darul Uloom Dewsbury and also the confidence the trustees have placed in me to bring the necessary changes
required to make this a truly successful Institute. I look forward to working
with you and the students to help them attain the best in this life and the
next with the permission of Allah.

This is an opportunity provided to me, Insha Allah, to take the Institute
forward, raising achievement levels without compromising on the Islamic ethos
of the Institute. I have the vision to provide effective Islamic education for
the 21st Century in which Islamic values, education and
the curriculum will focus on the personality and character development of the
students and the real needs and concerns of students. Also to prepare students
with the critical thinking and problem-solving skills needed to function
successfully as Muslim leaders in today’s society so they can contribute to
humanity as a whole.

This will come from the collaborative work of the students, staff, parents, and
trustees of Darul Uloom Dewsbury and well-wishers in the community.

Each individual will be nurtured and shaped by the values of the Islamic Faith, given an opportunity to achieve their full potential and to develop a passion for life and learning.

I am really looking forward to meeting all of the parents and carers at the Institute. I have an open-door policy and I welcome any feedback from parents. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any queries or concerns or if there is anything I can do to help and support you with your student’s
learning and Institute life. I would like to thank you personally for your continued commitment and support towards the staff and
pupils of this Institute.

We pray for all of our teachers, non-teaching staff, volunteers, management, executive board and more importantly our students and their parents for their hard work and support in making this Institute a successful Institute.

Jazakallah khair
